How long do my carpets or upholstery take to dry?
There are many different types of materials and carpet pile but most of our freshly cleaned carpets are dry within an hour, enabling the least disruption for our customers. Upholstery varies widely in drying time but we will advise you of this along with your quote.
What about moving my furniture?
You will not have to move the furniture. We carefully move all your furniture to one side, clean the carpet underneath and then clean the other side. We replace all your furniture on completion of the cleaning.
How long does it take?
For example, a typical living room carpet or 3 piece suite will take 1 to 2 hours each. You will be advised fully of the time involved along with your quote.
Is it a messy process?
No, not at all! There is no mess whatsoever because we use the latest and most effective machines available. We place our cleaning equipment outside of the building wherever possible and all you experience is a pipe running through!
Will my carpets become dirty again quickly?
Some people have had the experience of their carpets becoming dirty after cleaning. If carpets are cleaned with any kind of foaming agent, then they do become dirty quickly due to the sticky residue left in the material. OJS carpet cleaning never uses foaming agents, we use a steam extraction process that leaves no residue. It restores your carpet to its original condition (apart from wear and tear).
